AD GENTES MISSIONARIES 

An African native, Fr. Vitalis became a naturalized citizen following his family’s decision to immigrate to the United States. He was ordained to the Catholic priesthood for the Archdiocese of Omaha, Nebraska on June 1, 2002 and is currently the pastor of St. Benedict the Moor.

Fr. Vitalis loves being a priest and he especially enjoys preaching and celebrating the sacraments. His hobbies

include reading, walking, music, watching soccer and

football (not all at the same time), traveling and making

friends.

In addition to his parish duties, Fr. Vitalis works very closely with a missionary religious community of sisters and

brothers he founded in 2003 based in Nigeria and the

United States called Ad Gentes Missionaries.
